This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct thorough Job Safety Analyses (JSAs). JSAs are a systematic process to identify and control hazards associated with specific job tasks. Participants will learn:
JSA Methodology: Understand different JSA techniques (e.g., Job Breakdown Method, Step-by-Step Method, What-If Analysis)
Hazard Identification: Recognize potential hazards such as physical, chemical, ergonomic, and electrical hazards.
Control Measures: Develop and implement effective control measures (e.g., engineering controls, administrative controls, personal protective equipment).
Documentation and Communication: Properly document JSAs and communicate findings to employees.
Teamwork and Participation: Encourage employee involvement in the JSA process.
