Lockout/Tagout for Supervisors

This course equips supervisors with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement and oversee a robust Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program. Participants will learn the critical elements of a compliant LOTO program, including:
Regulatory requirements: Understand OSHA regulations and industry best practices for LOTO procedures.
Hazard assessment and control: Identify and control hazardous energy sources, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Employee training and competency: Ensure all employees are properly trained and qualified to perform LOTO procedures safely.
Program implementation and auditing: Develop, implement, and audit an effective LOTO program to minimize workplace injuries.
By the end of this course, supervisors will be able to:
Develop and implement an effective LOTO program.
Train and supervise employees in safe LOTO procedures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of LOTO procedures.
Investigate and respond to LOTO-related incidents.
