This course equips supervisors with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement and oversee a robust Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program. Participants will learn the critical elements of a compliant LOTO program, including:

• Regulatory requirements: Understand OSHA regulations and industry best practices for LOTO procedures.

• Hazard assessment and control: Identify and control hazardous energy sources, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Employee training and competency: Ensure all employees are properly trained and qualified to perform LOTO procedures safely.

• Program implementation and auditing: Develop, implement, and audit an effective LOTO program to minimize workplace injuries.
